Unofficial TikTok API — Profile Banner

Your API key — used by the Try-it console below, stored only in this browser.

GET/api/v1/profile_banner

Set or read a TikTok profile banner (Profile Background) using your session.

Parameter		Description
`session_id`	required	Your own TikTok `sessionid` (from your account cookies). The banner is set on THIS account.
`image_url`	optional	POST only. Direct link to the banner image (jpg/png/webp). Max 12 MB.
`fit`	optional	POST only. `portrait` (default) letterboxes a landscape image onto a 1080x1920 canvas with a blurred background; `original` uploads it untouched.
`dry_run`	optional	POST only. 1 = do everything except the upload/commit, so you can preview the result safely.
`sec_uid`	optional	GET only. Read this account's banner instead of your own.
`user_id`	optional	GET only. Numeric id of the account to read.

Returns

uid, the banner media_type (1 = image), image_url/image_hash, and for POST a status of changed / pending / dry_run.
